Disneyland with Toddlers *Page Under Construction*
It’s a common misconception that Disneyland with toddlers in tow is a miserable experience. Yet, as a mom of four, I’m here to tell you that one of my favorite ages to visit Disneyland is toddler hood. My eldest is a young teen now, and we’ve taken a little one as young as 5 weeks on our trips to Disneyland. If I could only take kids at one age, it would definitely be the 2-5 year old group. There are dozens of ways to make your magical vacation enjoyable with toddlers.
Stock up before hand
If there’s anything I’ve learned over the years, if your kids are cranky it’s one of three reasons. 1) They’re hungry, 2) they’re tired, or 3) they’re hot. When you’re packing for a park day, stock up on snacks, water, park gear and small entertainment items to keep kids giggling. Amazon will be your best friend during the stock up. Be sure to ask your Travel Agent if the hotel will accept a package on your behalf.

Put some thought into planning
Whether it’s the food you’ll want to eat, where you’ll want to get out of the sun or whether to take hotel breaks during the day, planning ahead is a great way to have milestones to look forward to. It’s a handy way to prep kids for waits or “just one more attraction, then we can head back.
